Dr. Tyra Turner Whittaker, LPC, CRC

Dr. Tyra Turner Whittaker has served as a professor and program coordinator for a masters level counseling program at two universities, and she has written grants that resulted in receiving approximately $13 million in grant funds.   She also is responsible for the initiation and development of a Ph.D. program in Rehabilitation Counseling.  Dr. Whittaker has an earned doctorate in Rehabilitation, an  M.A. in Guidance and Counseling, and a B.S. in Psychology.   has numerous presentations and publications in the area of rehabilitation and counseling, and multicultural counseling and has served on numerous statewide and national professional boards. She has conducted several in-service training sessions, consultations, and has served on numerous professional and community committees.
